YES, it is a shorter cable (approx 4 ft long) and depending on the positioning of their converter box and TV they may need a longer Coaxial cable.

How many total cables do they need?
1 cable from the converter box to the TV and 1 from the antenna to the converter box = 2 total.

What is the digital television transition?
At midnight on February 17, 2009, 20% of all full-power television stations in the United States will stop broadcasting in analog and switch to 100% digital broadcasting. That means 80% of TV stations will continue to broadcast in analog BUT if you don't have an ANALOG PASS-THROUGH BOX LIKE MIRACLE CLEAR VISION you will not be able to continue watching 80% of the channels you currently view. Digital broadcasting promises to provide a clearer picture and more programming options and will free up airwaves for use by emergency responders.

Will my television work after February 17, 2009?
Analog television sets receiving free TV using an antenna will not work after February 17, 2009 without a digital converter box with analog pass-through.

What are my options so I can continue to get TV after February 17, 2009?
1. Keep your existing analog TV and purchase a digital converter box.
2. Connect to cable, satellite and start paying high monthly bills.
3. Buy an expensive new TV with a digital tuner.

How do I install the Clear Vision TV Box?
The Clear Vision TV box easily plugs into your current TV set, either in the back or front, depending on your TV. You will still need your antenna, which works with the Clear Vision TV Box. Each Clear Vision TV Box will come with installation instructions from the manufacturer. You should be able to install the converter box using the instructions provided by the manufacturer.

Why is the digital transition happening?
Broadcasters are transitioning to digital to provide important benefits to consumers. Because digital broadcasting is more efficient, broadcasters require less of the airwaves to provide a better television viewing experience. Once the digital TV transition is completed, some frequency will be turned over to fire and police departments for emergency communication and others will be auctioned to companies to provide new wireless services.

How do I know if I have an analog or a digital TV?
Here are some general guidelines that may help: TV set made before 1998 was a traditional "analog" set. If you bought a big-screen, projection TV between 1998 and 2004, it may have a built-in digital tuner inside. But chances aren't great. Only a limited percentage of projection TV sets (and generally only those 42 inches in diameter or larger) included digital tuners before 2004. TV's made after March 2007 are required to have a digital tuner.

How big is the converter box?
Converter boxes are about the size of a paperback book. It will fit discreetly on top of your TV set.

Can I start using my Clear Vision TV Box now or do I need to wait until after February 17, 2009 for it to work?
You can begin enjoying the benefits of digital television today. Because many full-power stations are already broadcasting both in digital and analog, viewers can plug in their converter boxes and receive a clearer picture and "multicast" channels, where they are available.

Who manufactured the Converter Box?
The box is manufactured by Funai, A distributor of Phillips Magnavox. The box being sent now will be Sansonic FT-300A.

Is the Converter Box Energy Star rated?
Yes it is Energy Star rated.

If they have more than one TV do you need an antenna with each TV and box?
We recommend one for each box and TV because when you split the signal with multiple boxes it weakens the signal. You can use one antenna but for optimal directional viewing, an antenna for each television is better.

Will the box work if their TV does not have an audio/video or input/output hookup?
Yes, they would need to hook the box up by using a coaxial cable.
